#35: Gakuen Alice (Natsume & Mikan)

She pouted. "Only you are able to see me."...xXx...

"I don't even remember my last name…"
Speaking of amnesia, the ghost who was haunting him only remembered her first name: Mikan. That was all. To tell the truth, he did not even recognise her blazer school uniform. Though, the golden crest on the jacket was enough to tell him that she was from one of the elite schools. She might have been a young mistress for all he knew.
"The sooner you help me, the sooner I will leave you alone. Please, Natsume…"
He twitched slightly. She was giving him those pleading puppy dog eyes again. If he had never developed immunity from Aoi, who had the same habit whenever she wanted something from him, he would have said yes. Yet… what she said was true. The sooner he helped her, the sooner he could get rid of her. It had also become quite vexing when his neighbours started looking at him strangely. Who wouldn't when he always talked to her? No one but he could see, hear and talk to her. He cringed; everyone might have already labelled him as mentally ill. "Very well. I shall help you."
You are awesome at this. :D There is so much plot moving in merely 200 words, which is great. I admire you and your writing.

ReplyDeleteHAHAHA, I can totally imagine Natsume talking to a seemingly vacant space inside an elevator with people looking at him weirdly. I mean, that's just sad - and considering his looks, people would immediately feel sorry for his wasted appearance all because of his 'mental problem' when he really doesn't have it. XD
I think Natsume is really a kind person deep down, but why must he be faced with so many struggles? Like, y'know, the fourth type or alice. Or maybe a very bothersome ghost like Mikan? I cracked up when he said that other people might regard him as mentally unstable. XD

It just occurred to me now that since Mikan is in a school uniform, she must be younger than Natsume here. But but but romance. ;A;
