When will you come back again, Mikan? Natsume asked himself. He really wished he could say that to Mikan.
"Hyuuga, Mikan asked me to give you this," Hotaru said as she handed a small box and an envelope with light pink color and Sakura prints on the right side of the envelope.
'Mikan…' Natsume thought as he recognised the pattern.
Natsume,
I don't know how to tell you this but I would have to say… I'm sorry, for the second time. I know you were worried about me but please understand that I'm doing this for everyone and… for you… I have to go back to America to fix the damage from the fight between us and the AAO. I don't know when I will be back in Japan, but I still hope that you will wait for my return. When I'm back, there is something I need to tell you. Please take care of yourself, Natsume.

Of course, I will wait for you, he thought while looking at the necklace with Mikan's Nullification Alice stone on it.

The class was the same as always. Though, Yuu and Nonoko as well as Koko and Anna were couples now. And of course, our Ice Queen was still with the animal boy, which left the fire caster with the status of a single person.
"Good morning, class," Narumi-sensei greeted with a really big smile.
"Morning, Sensei," they replied dully.
"We have a new student?" Koko asked after reading their homeroom teacher's mind.
"Koko-kun, I should be the one who tell everyone about it. Anyway, we do have a new classmate today."
New student? Natsume thought under his manga that covered his face.
"Please come in," Narumi-sensei said.
When someone stepped into the classroom, the class gasped.
What is it all about? Natsume thought and took a peek from his manga then gasped. Mikan! His manga dropped to the floor, breaking the silence within the classroom.
"Well, may you introduce yourself again?" Narumi-sensei smiled.
The brunette grinned. "Mikan Sakura. Pleased to meet you all."
"Mikan-chan!" Anna and Nonoko exclaimed.
"Mikan-sama…" the fan boys cried.
Why aren't you wearing your mask? Natsume thought angrily as he got up and dragged Mikan out of the classroom without a second thought.
The situation reminded Mikan of their last night together so much that she remained quiet. When they reached the sakura tree, she stared at him. "You know, you don't have to drag me like that."
Natsume looked into her eyes. "Why?"
She was confused. "Eh?"
"Why aren't you wearing your mask?"
"Well, we’re already in high school so I thought—"
"I don't want any other guy see your face," he said, interrupting her.
She was slightly surprised when he suddenly hugged her.
"Why?" she muttered quietly.
"Because…"
"Because…?"
"I…"
She couldn't stand the silence. "Natsume?"
"I like you a lot," he confessed and when she was about to answer him, he kissed her lips.
After he pulled away, she began, "I—"
"I know. You don't have to answer my feelings," he interrupted her.
When he was about to walk away, she grabbed his hands. "Will you just let me finish my words?"
"I like you, too, Natsume. Why else would I give you my Alice stone?"
He blinked. She likes me, too…
She smiled. "Yes, Natsume. I like you, too."
"Will you be my girl then?"
Still smiling, she replied, "Tell me why I have to say no?"
He hugged her instantly. They remained there for a long while. When they returned to the classroom, Anna and Nonoko were the first to approach her.
"Mikan-chan! You really look beautiful without the mask," both girls said in union.
"Arigatou." Mikan smiled. They still same as always.
"So… I believe that you two are together now," Hotaru said out of the blue.
Mikan blushed.
"Mikan-chan and Natsume-kun are a couple now!" Anna said, surprised.
"You two look perfect for each other," added Nonoko.
Mikan closed her eyes dejectedly. "Why is everyone talking about me again?"
The classroom filled with laughter.
"Don't you dare make her cry, or you will face the consequences, Hyuuga," Hotaru said.
"Hn," Natsume grunted.
Mikan glanced at Natsume. He just gave her his Alice stone minutes ago. Hopefully, no one would find out about that. Her entire secret would always be exposed by Hotaru. Not that she hated Hotaru for being herself. She just wanted to keep the news for herself, for now. At the very least, she wanted this to be… my little secret.
