#35: Gakuen Alice (Natsume & Mikan)

Based on standards, the man was far from ugly. He was half-Japanese with blond hair and blue eyes. If he hadn't come to this party, that man would have become her fiancé this very night. Multiple times, he thanked Mikan mentally that she had decided to find him again. Otherwise, he would have lost her forever. Though he wasn't head over heels for her, he wanted her no matter what the future might hold for them. Besides, a future without her would be too dull....xXx...
He remained still when the blonde man stood beside him. "You're a lucky man, Mr. Hyuuga."
Both of them watched Mikan converse with her parents' associates. Her cheery smile was quite contagious to those who didn't know her bubbly personality. Her cousin Imai was not far from her side. From what Mikan told him, although they were distant cousins, they had been best friends since elementary school.
Mikan seemed to know he was watching her as she cast him a questioning look. When their eyes met, he kept his gaze on her beautiful face. After several moments, she quickly turned away, flushing.
He smirked before muttering an answer to the man beside him, "I am."
