#35: Gakuen Alice (Natsume & Mikan)

The moment he heard Mikan's name, he found himself running to his office. As soon as he saw her back, his heart beat so fast that he thought he might have a heart attack. She turned around and flashed that cheerful smile of hers, the same smile he missed and loved....xXx...
"Mikan?" he whispered uncertainly. To tell the truth, he often had dreams of her coming back to him.
"Natsume!" She stood up happily and ran to him, but she only managed halfway before her legs gave out. Instantly, he rushed forward and caught her around the waist.
Before he could comment on anything, she laughed sheepishly. "I'm sorry. My legs are not strong enough to run yet, but I'm so happy to see you again after so long! I…"
He did not hear the rest of her rambling as happiness filled his heart. It didn't really matter to him since she was here, with him. She had returned to him, just like what he had hoped for. Tightening his hold, he stopped her from talking by calling her name.
Strangely, she glared at him quite menacingly. "What?"
"You talk too much," he murmured before pressing his lips to hers.

ReplyDeleteThe last sentence was cute too, and it vaguely shows his affection. So I guess, it's a good chapter :)
And I'm sorry if I wrote in my other reviews that their relationship was fast. I don't recall writing that, but again, I'm truly sorry.
