#35: Gakuen Alice (Natsume & Mikan)

He adored her blushing face when they pulled apart from their first kiss. Though he didn't mind kissing her, he would have to find another way to make her blush so beautifully. After helping her back to her previous seat, he gazed into her beautiful brown eyes. "What took you so long?"
Out of everything, he didn't expect her hard glare. "I should be the one saying that! You didn't even bother to contact me!"
He tried hard not to wince guiltily. She was right, but he wouldn't admit it. Besides, what could he say about it?
Pouting, she went on, "Do you even know that I didn't remember you after I returned to my own body?"
Shocked, the only answer he could provide was, "What?"
A sigh escaped her lips as she elaborated, "I didn't remember you at all, Natsume. Even after Serina-sensei, who helped you find me, told me about you, I couldn't recall our encounter. The only thing she left me with was your name card. I had been staring at your name for the whole two weeks, but nothing came to me. By the third week, I gave up. And that was when I started dreaming…"
First of all, congratulations on getting married! I thought you were a teenager, but I guess I was wrong. My heartiest wishes to you and your soon-to-be husband. I hope you both live up till 130 years, relaxing in two old armchairs and reminiscing the past :)
ReplyDeleteOn with your story, quite cute in a way, indicating new love blooming forth. Hey, you know what? Doesn't this kind of relates to your story? I mean, Mikan and Natsume realized their feelings for each other, so I guess it will be the same for you too!

You're getting married! Congratulations! That's wonderful news, and hopefully that further inspires you to write romance fan fictions like this one, which although might not be publish now, would be, much later. :) I'm so happy for you; I hope the wedding ceremony plays out smoothly!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I'm a huge fan of this story of yours. I guess the only things that kind of ticks me off a bit is how it's limited to 200 words. I think I've said this a couple of reviews before, but it leaves me frustrated to some extent. It truly is a wonderful story you're telling here, and I find that 200 words per chapter somehow restricts the elaboration of several points in every chapter, which I thought would have been great.
Regardless, I do like this immensely. It's very interesting, despite the chapter length, and the quick updates are awesome. I like how it's progressing, especially with Mikan's fiance entering the picture. I'm looking forward to the twists that you'll introduce in the future. Great writing, and do keep at it! :)
Ohhhhh... So she remembered him because of her dreams. Me want to know about her dreams.. 8D

ReplyDeleteAnd I knew it. She didn't remember him after all. OTL But I half expected that she only remembered who he was when he kissed her. Hahaha! Yep, I thought she only went to his office and pretended t remember just to see if she would remember somehow. But, well... all of my theories have been wrong so far. Save the Mikan not remembering who he was; that was partly true. XD
