"Welcome back, Young Mistress." Rin smiled and bowed humbly.

Mikan returned her smile. "It's good to be back, Rin."

It's been two years, Mikan thought absentmindedly as she looked around the house. Everything had pretty much remained the same.

"Young Mistress, your room is ready for you to rest in."

"Arigatou, Rin." Mikan nodded. She then made her way to her room and saw her mother already there. "Okaa-san?"

"Dear, I need to discuss something with you."

"Oh?" Mikan replied while unpacking her luggage.

"We have arranged everything for you and Natsume-kun."

Natsume… she thought before asking her mother, "What do you mean, Okaa-san?"

Yuka looked at her daughter closely. "We already reserved a place for the two of you to meet again… tonight…"

"Tonight? Why not tomorrow? I just came back from America, Okaa-san," Mikan whined, but Yuka only chuckled. "Don't you miss him?"

Yuka laughed when Mikan blushed crimson. Meanie…

Before leaving her daughter, Yuka smiled. "Rin will help you get ready."

As if on cue, Rin appeared before her with several gowns. "Miss, please choose one of these gowns."

Mikan could tell that it was more than ten gowns. She sweat dropped. Don't you think that this is a bit too much?

"Sume-chan, tonight you will need to attend a special dinner with a special girl," Kaoru chirped happily.

A vein popped out of Natsume's head. "Okaa-san, please don't call me with that name." He then remembered what she just said. "What did you say just now?"

Kaoru smiled. "You will attend dinner with a special girl."

Natsume thought about the word 'special' for a while. "Who is she?"

"Well… actually, she's your fiancée, Natsume."

"Fiancée? Okaa-san! You know I hate it when—" He stopped himself and sighed heavily instead. "This is the old man's plan, isn't it?"

"Natsume, please understand, your father only thinks about what's best for you, okay?"

Isn't this the same thing as what happened two years ago? Natsume thought before sighing dejectedly.

"Be ready by seven," Kaoru said and walked out of his room.

Mikan… when will you come back? Natsume thought and closed his eyes. It's been two long years…

"Okaa-san, I also want to meet Mikan-nee," Youichi whined. It's been two years. I've missed her a lot…

"Not now, You-chan."

"Why? Natsume-nii can meet Mikan-nee, so why can't I?"

Kaoru smiled. "Because this is only for the two of them, You-chan. You know that we kept their engagement a secret, right?"

Youichi nodded his head.

"Since the two of you have been transferred to Alice Academy, Sume-chan and Mikan-chan's relationship has improved a lot, so we need to set them up again."

Youichi sweat dropped. "Okaa-san, why do you always call Natsume-nii, Sume-chan?"

"Because it's cute!"

"But it's not masculine at all when Okaa-san calls him that!" Youichi pouted.

Kaoru looked at him. "You-chan, don't tell me that you want to be like Sume-chan?"

Natsume-nii is perfect in everything, so of course, I want to be like him. Youichi looked away from his mother.

Kaoru giggled. "Now you know why you can't go with Sume-chan, right?"

"Okaa-san, please stop calling Onii-chan like that!" Youichi said, protesting with a whine and saw his older brother, dressed in a black tux, stepped down the stairs. "Natsume-nii!"

"Sume-chan looks so handsome!" Kaoru exclaimed.

"Okaa-san, I thought I told you not to call me by that name."

Kaoru ignored his complaint completely. "Please treat her nicely, Sume-chan!"

Youichi smiled up at his older brother when he patted his silver head. Good luck, Natsume-nii.

So this is the place, huh? Natsume thought, glancing around the scheduled place that was reserved for two. He tried to look for his fiancée but could find no one. Who could this girl be? I hope it's not a stupid fan girl… Mikan, when will you come back?

"Looks like you really miss me, Natsume."

His eyes widened as he recognised that voice. Mikan?

Soon, he saw her pass by his side and sat in front of him. He looked at her closely. Mikan, is that really you?

She really looked beautiful with her simple red gown.

"May I serve the dinner now, Mikan-sama?" one of the waiters asked politely.

"Yes, please." Mikan nodded at the waiter before looking at her fiancé. "When will you stop staring at me?"

Natsume snapped back to reality. "Mikan, why are you here?"

He then remembered the one he should meet was his fiancée.

She smiled. "Hm… because I have to meet my fiancé here?"

"Your fiancé?" he asked, thoroughly confused.

He heard her sigh.

"Looks like Kaoru-baa-san didn't tell you anything about this."

"..."

"Natsume, two years ago when you brought Sumire as your girlfriend, the engagement was not cancelled at all. My mother insisted that you and I must be engaged, but it will only be known by us. The people who knew about this are Hotaru, Koko, Akira and our families. So, all this time, you have been my fiancé, Natsume."

You are my fiancée? He thought in disbelief.

She hummed. "Can I assume that you don't want to be my fiancé?"

"What? No! I-it's just—"

"Too sudden," she supplied. "Don't you have anything else to say to me, Natsume?"

"Of course, I do." He smiled and mentally thanked his father.

"Class, someone familiar from the past will join us today," Narumi-sensei informed, and Koko smiled knowingly.

"Ah, Koko-kun. You already know about it, don't you?" Narumi-sensei said with a grin.

The class looked at Koko curiously while Natsume smirked under his manga that was covering his face.

"Please come in," Narumi-sensei said to the new student.

The class gasped when a very beautiful brunette with a pair of hazel eyes stood in front of them.

"Mikan Yukihira. Nice to meet you," the brunette said, smiling.

The class went wild.

"Mikan-sama!"

"Yukihira-sama, you're back!"

"Mikan-chan! We missed you so much!" Anna and Nonoko said in unison as they hugged her.

Mikan smiled. "I'm back, everyone."

Long time no see, Mikan. Looks like you are doing fine, Koko said mentally, and Mikan grinned. You, too, Koko.

"Your partner and your seat will still be the same, Mikan-chan," Narumi-sensei informed with a big smile on his face.

Mikan nodded. "Arigatou, Sensei."

She walked to her seat, which was beside Natsume.

Before leaving the classroom, Narumi-sensei said, "Free period for all of you."

Just when the boys began to go near to Mikan, they yelped in pain, for their pants were on fire. The class was shocked because Natsume Hyuuga had never done this before.

"Natsume, don't be so mean to them," Mikan exclaimed. She snapped her fingers, and the fire vanished immediately.

"I have every right to do so," Natsume said confidently.

Mikan sighed.

The class was confused because of what Natsume said.

"I won't allow any guys to get near my fiancée," Natsume said with a-matter-of-fact tone.

The class was shocked and screamed in unison, "Say what?!"

"Despite of the mishap two years ago, Natsume-san and Mikan are actually still engaged," explained Koko while nodding.

The fan girls cried and some of them even fainted.

"It's not fair! Natsume-sama should be mine!"

"No! He should be mine!"

"You're ugly, he should be mine!"

From then on, the fan girls fought each other. The class, including Mikan, sweat dropped. Natsume, who couldn't stand the noise, pulled her out of the classroom. Soon, both found themselves settled down under the same sakura tree. After a short silence, Mikan started, "Why did you tell everyone about our engagement?"

I don't want any guy to touch you, thought Natsume, still reading his manga.

She smiled upon reading his thoughts and snatched the manga.

"What are you doing?"

He tried to get his manga back, but she prevented it.

"Mikan, give me back that manga, or else," he threatened, and she smirked at him.

"You won't do anything to me," she said confidently.

Before she knew what was happening, her back was already pressed against the ground. He leaned closer to her face while she blushed like a steamed crab.

"This is what I will do to you, little girl…"

He kissed her lips before letting her hands go and pulled her closer. She closed her eyes, enjoying their second kiss. It had been a long time. The kiss lasted for a minute before they broke apart for air.

Unknown to them, a certain someone was spying on them, and that someone was busy taking pictures. I will be rich! RICH! RICH!

You're mine and will always be mine, he thought while hugging her. Forever.

She smiled and hugged him back. Of course, my dear fiancé...
